Chapter 5

Web-based Management

This Chapter provides Setup details of the FCS-1091/WCS-1090’s
Web-based Interface. This Chapter is for the Camera Administrator
only.

Introduction

The FCS-1091/WCS-1090 can be configured using your Web Browser. The FCS-
1091/WCS-1090 must have an IP address which is compatible with your PC.

The recommended method to ensure this is to use the supplied Camera Wizard, as
described in Chapter 2 - Basic Setup.

Connecting to FCS-1091/WCS-1090

• If using only your Web Browser, use the following procedure to establish a

connection from your PC to the FCS-1091/WCS-1090:

• Once connected, you can add the FCS-1091/WCS-1090 to your Browser's

Favorites or Bookmarks.

Connecting using your Web Browser

1. Use the Camera Wizard to get the IP address of the FCS-1091/WCS-1090.

2. Start your WEB browser.

3. In

the

Address box, enter "HTTP://" and the IP Address of the FCS-1091/WCS-

1090.

4. You will then be prompted for a username and password.

• If using the default values, enter administrator for the name, and leave the

password blank.

• Otherwise, enter the Administrator ID and Administrator Password set on the

Maintenance screen.
