Warning!
The multiĆblender cannot be attached to the
food processor and operated until it has been
assembled and the lid rotated as far as the lid
lug. If required, hold the lid lug with your
thumb (Fig. 7).

The tool drive cover must be attached,
otherwise the appliance will not start
(Fig. 8).
MultiĆfunction blade
for chopping, puréeing, blending, cutting and
for making sauces and milkshakes.
S Place the bowl on the base and rotate as far
as possible in an antiĆclockwise direction.
S Insert the blade on the conical base.
S Add ingredients to be processed.
S Attach the lid (note mark) and rotate in an
antiĆclockwise direction as far as the lid lug.
S Press the release button and move the
swivel arm into the operating position.
S Attach the multiĆblender to the drive,
noting the mark. Rotate as far as possible
in an antiĆclockwise direction.
S Select the desired setting with the rotary
switch.
S More food can be added through the filling
shaft while the appliance is running.
Note: The lid cannot be removed while
the appliance is running and when the
multiĆblender is attached to the food
processor.
After using the appliance
S Switch off the appliance with the rotary
switch and remove the multiĆblender from
the drive.
S Rotate the lid in a clockwise direction and
remove.
S Empty the multiĆblender. To do this, restrain
the multiĆfunction blade on the conical base
in the multiĆblender.
S Remove the multiĆfunction blade from the
conical base.
Cutting discs
Reversible slicing disc - thick/thin
for cutting fruit and vegetables.
Designation on the reversible slicing disc:
1" for the thick slicing side
3" for the thin slicing side
Warning!
The reversible slicing disc is not suitable for
slicing hard cheese, bread, bread rolls or
chocolate.
Reversible shredding disc - coarse/fine
for shredding vegetables, fruit and cheese,
except hard cheese (e.g. parmesan).
Designation on the reversible shredding disc:
2" for the coarse shredding side
4" for the fine shredding side
Warning!
The reversible shredding disc is not suitable
for shredding nuts. Shred soft cheese with the
coarse side only.
Grating disc - medium fine
for grating raw carrots, hard cheese
(e.g. parmesan) and nuts.
Warning!
The grating disc can be used on one side
only. It is not suitable for grating soft cheese
or cheese slices.
S Attach the bowl to the base and rotate as
far as possible in an antiĆclockwise direction.
S Place the slicing or shredding disc on the
disc holder with the required side face up.
The grating disc can be used on one side
only.
S Insert the disc holder.
S Attach the lid (note mark) and rotate in an
antiĆclockwise direction as far as the lid lug.
S Press the release button and move the
swivel arm into the operating position.
S Attach the multiĆblender to the drive and
rotate as far as possible in an antiĆclockwise
direction.
S Select the required setting with the rotary
switch; setting 1 or 2 for soft and crumbly
food, otherwise setting 3 or 4.
S Place ingredients which are to be processed
in the filling shaft and gently force down with
the pusher. Observe filling height.
The maximum filling height is the lower edge
of the disc holder hub.
Tip: To ensure ingredients are cut uniformly,
process small amounts of thinly cut
ingredients.
Note: If the multiĆblender becomes blocked
with the ingredients which are being
processed, switch off the food processor,
pull out the mains plug, wait until the drive has
stopped, remove the multiĆblender from the
drive, take the lid off the multiĆblender and
empty the filling shaft.
