The SB is delivered ready-to-operate. The
points described under "Preparation for work"
are also valid for the initial commissioning of a
new machine.

Always proceed as follows:
l Clarify the general conditions
l Make building site safe
l Establish position and sequence of drilled
holes and cuts
l Carry out visual inspection
l Cover sharp-edged scuffing positions
(hoses and wires)

Check:
1. Oil level in the oil tank of the drive unit
2. Oil losses from hoses and clutches
3. Clutches and couplings for damage and contamina-
tion
4. Hoses, plugs and wires for damage
Position yourself at a suitable
distance and not in the "firing
line" of the wire. If the wire
breaks you are then better pro-
tected.
