7. PROGRAMMING YOUR TRANSMITTER
OVERVIEW
LTSE6 transmitters are easily programmed by connecting them to the same LAN as a PC or by
connecting them directly to a PC with an Ethernet cable, and then running Instrument Setup
Software on the PC. This MS Windows based software allows Node and Device discovery,
uploading, editing, downloading and saving of setup data, execution of commands under computer
control, listing, plotting and graphing of data, and computer prompted calibration.
INSTALLING INSTRUMENT SETUP SOFTWARE
Download the file ISx_x_x.exe from our website and double-click on the file name. Click on Install
Instrument Setup Software and follow the prompts.
LAUNCHING INSTRUMENT SETUP SOFTWARE
Connect your LTE transmitter to your PC via an Ethernet cable, or connect the transmitter to the
same LAN as the PC. To launch IS software, press on
Start => Programs => IS2 => Instrument
Setup or on the desktop icon that you may have created. Following a brief splash screen, the
Communications Setup screen will appear.
In the Communications Setup screen, select Transmitter LTSE as the Device Type, Ethernet as the
Communication Type, any of the protocols listed.
Upon clicking on Ethernet for the first time, you may be presented with the Windows Security Alert
shown below. Click on Unblock , and IS software will be launched. If you ever click on Keep
