C2 Colour Measurement
Preparing the measurement
• Turn
spectro-color
®
on and calibrate the
instrument, if required (see chapter C1)
• Select the required colour values (see
Configuration).
• Press
key
C for colour measurement.
Measuring Procedure
• Place spectro-color
® in perpendicular
position to the sample.
• When using a barcode reader you can
enter a sample name before each
measurement by scanning the barcode,
provided that the value memory is
activated.
• Press the measure button to trigger measurement. Do not move spectro-color
®
as long
as the display shows a clock.
• Measuring is signalled a measuring start
and measuring end beep.
Note: When the value memory is activated, the
number of available locations is indicated
during the measurement in the bottom line.
• The display shows the values in the
selected colour system. To change the
colour system, see configuration chapter.
• Press key DIM to switch the next colour
system.
