change the
Gloss subtr. OFF
. Now message
Gloss subtr. ON
appears and the gloss value is
subtracted in the calculation of the measuring
value.
To check the current settings, the top line in
colour and colour difference measurement modes reads D65/10/SPIN when the gloss
subtraction function is off (SPIN = specular gloss included) or D65/10/SPEX when the
gloss subtraction function is on (SPEX = specular gloss excluded).

You can choose to activate or deactivate the
confirmation beep of spectro-color

.
Go to menu item
Beeper on
with the
Ø key
and confirm with ok .
B3.4.5 Pass / Fail Tolerance Setting
If you wish to employ the pass/fail function, you should first set the limit values for
ΔE*,
ΔL*,Δa*,Δb*. To do so, select item
Settings
in the configuration menu first and item
Pass/Fail Settings
next.
The following menu comes up:
The
ΔE*-limit is shown in inverse display. Set
the desired
ΔE*-limit using the × or Ø keys
and confirm with ok . The cursor jumps to the
first place after decimal point. The settings of
all other limit values are analogue.
Confirm the settings with ok .
