5-5-8. Home Box
You can configure relevant settings for Home Box here.
For instruction on other detailed settings, please refer
to the instruction manual for Home Box.
VI. Exiting the software
You will see the following prompt when you are about
to exit the software.
It means that you have made changes to some setting
on the software but did not use the Sync function to
apply the changes you have made to Home Box. If that
is the case, click
and use the Sync function to
apply the changes you have made to Home Box. If you
do not wish to apply the changes you have made, click
to exit the software.
Note:
Please note that actions such as Add Device / Replace
Device / Remove Device take effect immediately during
the operation of Home Box and that they will remain
effective even if you do not synchronize the software
with Home Box.
Ⅳ. Troubleshooting
1-1. By default, the software will attempt to establish
connection with Home Box upon startup. When the
software is unable to access the data on Home Box, it
will display the following message to remind the user.
Click “Confirm” and the main screen will look like the
screenshot below (the Sync function will turn grey and
is unavailable).
When you see this message, take a moment to see if
any of the following has occurred:
1. Is Home Box connected to a power source?
Make sure Home Box is properly connected to a
power source/wall outlet before restarting the
Home Integrated System application.
2. Is Home Box placed too far away from the Wireless
Key?
Try to move Home Box to somewhere nearer to the
Wireless Key and restart Home Integrated System.
3. Did you purchase a new Wireless Key (as a
replacement for a faulty one)?
Use the Add Device – Add Home Box function to
have the Wireless Key learn the code from Home
Box. Once that has been done, the system will
OK
