INTRODUCTION
The Game Port upgrade kit for EXP CD-ROM has two different configurations

the CDG-GAME and the
‚
‚
CDG-IDE/G. If your CD-ROM kit was
equipped with the PCMCIA “CD-ROM+” card already, you just need the
CDG-GAME option, otherwise, you need to purchase the CDG-IDE/G which
includes a new PCMCIA “CD-ROM+” card to replace your old card.
SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
1. EXP CD-ROM model CD-420, 421, 620, 621, 820, 821, or CD-940E*
2. PC Card(PCMCIA) Card service and Socket device driver compliant
preferred(if the drivers are not present, the Point Enabler for intel
82365SL PCIC or compatible will be installed)
3. DOS 6.0 or higher, Windows 3.x, Windows 95
4. I/O port address 200 to 207 must be available for the Game Port I/O
function to operate(most of notebooks do), check the APPENDIX A for
the incompatible list.

The following picture shows how a complete connection was made. This is a
EXP CD-821 with the Game Port adapter and connected through a CD-ROM+
card into notebook. The game-pad is attached to the Game Port.
