5.4 Installing and Wiring the Batteries
WARNING!
Before proceeding, verify the line wire is attached to the line terminal block, the ground
wire is attached to the ground terminal block and the neutral wire is attached to the neu-
tral terminal block to prevent accidental shock or electrocution.
Make sure the battery breaker is OFF before wiring the batteries.

Procedure
1. Install the 4 batteries and wire
them up as shown.
2. Use a DC voltmeter to verify
the battery string’s polarity
and voltage (24Vdc).
