Upon receipt, thoroughly inspect for any
freight damage which should be brought to
the attention of the delivery carrier.
Compare the catalog description listed on
the packing slip with the label on the
carton to ensure that you have received
the correct merchandise.

NEW INSTALLATION FOR 10” AW and A
MICROGROOVE BAFFLE YOKE and
REFLECTOR

1. Insert yoke assembly through aperture of

recessed housing (see Figure 1).

2. Insert feet of yoke into raised slots

located on housing pan (see Figure 2).

3. Attach socket cup to top of reflector by

aligning and engaging springs in socket
cup with slots in top of reflector (see

Figure 3).
4. Pull end of yoke coil spring down through

aperture and attach it to screw located on
top of socket cup (see Figure 4). Tighten
screw. *CAUTION: Coil spring under tension.
When working with spring, use extreme
caution.

5. Grip reflector flange and allow coil spring

to retract, pulling reflector tight to ceiling.
*CAUTION: Coil spring under tension. When
working with spring, use extreme caution.

WALLWASH REFLECTORS- Make sure that the
wallwash component of the reflector is pro-
perly oriented with the wall to be illuminated
(see Figure 5).
6. Install lamp. DO NOT EXCEED INCANDE-

SCENT WATTAGE AS NOTED ON LABEL
LOCATED INSIDE REFLECTOR. FOR HID
LAMPS, REFER TO LABEL LOCATED BESIDE
SOCKET FOR PROPER LAMP TYPE AND
WATTAGE.

7. To remove the reflector: Remove lamp,

compress springs in socket cup and remove
socket cup from reflector.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION

For Your Protection, Read Carefully

- Risk of fire. Do not install insu-

lation within 3 inches of fixture sides or wir-
ing compartment, nor above the fixture in
such a manner as to entrap heat.

• Turn off the power supply.

• Ground the fixture to avoid potential

electrical shocks.

• Do not handle an energized fixture or

energize any fixture with wet hands,
when standing on a wet or damp sur-
face, or in water.

• Double check all electrical connections

to be sure they are tight and correct.

• Match wattage of fixture and lamp ex-

actly.

• Do not remove or insert lamp when power

is on.

• Do not scratch glass or subject lamp to

undue pressure as either may cause
lamp breakage.

• Protect operating lamp from sources

of moisture.
