Connection diagram

Alternative 1:
One sensor switches a load area by means of light and/or

motion detection.
P Switch contact
Q Load (ECG, lamps, etc.)

Alternative 2:
One sensor switches a load area by means of light and/or moti-

on detection. A maximum of 5 additional sensors exclusively for

motion detection are used to expand the detection area.
Precondition: DIP switches (F) 1 and 2 are set to OFF in the

slaves.
R To additional sensors (a total of 6 sensors switched in

parallel!).

S Motion signal
T Sensor in slave mode (motion detection only)
U Sensor in master mode

Limiting the motion detection area

The supplied lens cover can be used to limit the detection area

and to adjust it to local conditions.

Attaching the sensor to the ceiling

Determine a suitable installation location (see „Selecting the

installation location“).

‚

Screw the lower section of the housing onto the ceiling.
Note: Follow step 5 to correctly align the unit.

ƒ

Connect the sensor; see „Connection diagram“.

„

Attach the upper section of the housing to the lower section.

…

Make sure that the light sensor is facing the room.

Attaching the sensor to the fluorescent

lamps

Precondition: T5 or T8 lamps with a min. grid of 60 mm.

Determine a suitable installation location (see „Selecting the

installation location“).

‚

Insert the lamp clip into the lower section of the sensor

housing

ƒ

Attach the sensor to the lamp end with the lamp clip to avoid

weighing down the lamp excessively. Minimum distance to

the lampholder due to heat development of the coils: 8 cm.

„

If necessary, adjust the sensor installation depth to the depth

of the grid luminaire by sliding the lamp clip in or out.

N With lamp clip for 26 mm fluorescent lamp
O With lamp clip for 16 mm fluorescent lamp

…

Pull the upper section of the housing off of the attached

lower section.

†

Connect the sensor; see „Connection diagram“.

‡

Reattach the upper section of the housing to the lower

section.
