2.1 Network Settings
(1) Promi-MSP
™ power-up; ‘POWER’and ‘STATUS’LEDs display green
(2) Promi-MSP
™ network configuration: connect Promi-MSP™ to PC via RS232 cable
(3) Open HyperTerminal
(4) Set PC COM port;
Baud rate 115200 / 8 Data bit / non-parity / 1 stop bit / no hardware flow control
(5) Press Enter key; the following information is displayed on HyperTerminal
screen; If Promi-MSP
™ prompts Login ID/password, default values are:
Login: admin
Password: 11111

Default Promi-MSP
™ IP address factory setting is 192.168.1.10
.
Revise to
user appropriate networking environment IP address
(7) To revise Network Settings, click main menu Number. Enter “1”
as displayed below.

Network Settings sub menu is displayed.
Description:
1. Static IP: For Assigning Promi-MSP
™ a static IP
2. DHCP: For Assigning Promi-MSP
™ IP using DHCP
3. PPPoE: For assigning Promi-MSP
™ IP using PPPoE
4. DHCP server: For instant network setting. Promi-MSP assigns temporary IP to
PC.
