Introduction
Overview
This manual provides installation and operating instructions for the
9081 HD/SD Frame Sync with Embedded Audio Processing card (also
referred to herein as the 9081).
Note: This manual also covers the 9081 equipped with Dolby ® decoding as an
option (denoted by option code +DEC ). Where applicable, descriptions related
exclusively to a card equipped with option +DEC are denoted by +DEC only.
In all other aspects, all 9081 cards function identically as described in this
manual.
This manual consists of the following chapters:
• Chapter 1, “Introduction” – Provides information about this manual
and what is covered. Also provides general information regarding the
9081.
• Chapter 2, “Installation and Setup” – Provides instructions for
installing the 9081 in a frame, and optionally installing 9081 Rear I/O
Modules.
