6. Install the new Rough Country lower dual shock bracket as shown in Photo 5 with factory bolt and using a 18mm
socket, making sure the bracket is positioned evenly on the axle. Fine tuning of the lower bracket may be needed to
align the shock absorbers after they are installed.
7. Install the upper shock hoop on the frame rail by positioning the upper round seat in the coil seat and by aligning the
rear existing hole on the frame. See Photo 6. Make sure the rear hole in lined up and the upper coil ring is
positioned in the coil mount.
8. After the hoop has been positioned and using the hoop as a guide, mark and drill the front hole with a 17/32” drill bit
and enlarge the rear hole to 17/32”. See Photo 7 & 8.
9. Using the supplied 1/2” x 1 1/4” bolts and flag nuts secure the hoop to the frame as shown in Photo 9 & 10.
