INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Remove the upper stock shock absorbers using a 19MM wrench and the lower shock of the shock using a 18mm
wrench.
2. Remove the lower sway bar nut using a 21mm wrench. See Photo 1. Retain hardware for reuse.
3. Remove the Rough Country brake line bracket (if equipped) from upper coil seat using a 10mm wrench to allow the
axle to be lowered. Retain the stock hardware. See Photo 2.
4. Lower the axle and remove the coils spring.
5. Remove the lower coil seat from the axle using a 18mm socket as shown in Photo 3.
6. If installing this kit on a vehicle equipped with a radius arm drop bracket kit the supplied shims will be used on the
lower Rough Country shock mount. Install as shown in Photo 4 with the thick part of the shim toward the front. If the
vehicle is equipped with a 4-link Rough Country kit please proceed to the next step as the supplied shims will NOT
be needed.
