Aurora Networks’ Trident7 Universal Access Platform (T7) affords network

Universal Access Platform Overview
The T7 platform is the central point of aggregation and management for
Aurora’s node-based
IP
and evolving Ethernet access solutions. The
highly resilient chassis and network components extend through the
PON
distribution network to the customer premise for demanding
SLA
-based
commercial applications. Multiple redundant high capacity 10 GbE ports
are provided as the edge interface to the core network. Service assurance
is supported through stringent QoS/CoS and security features.
A full services model is supported in combination with the T7
EMS
system,
complemented by Aurora’s advanced transmitters,
EDFA

ONT
s with
integrated support of
RF
set-top return for
RF
video delivery. Advanced
protocol support for
IP
multicast and unicast streams ensures quality
delivery of
IP
video. Voice is supported through multiple

protocols with
certified support of major voice switch platforms. The T7 platform supports
multiple Ethernet interfaces, residential gateway, wireless for High Speed

) residential and commercial services.
