Overview
The B748AV and B7748AV series high performance
broadcast-grade fiber transmission system supports
two way composite video and two-way 2-channel
line-level audio and relay/contact closure. The all-
digital processing platform features 24-bit dual chan-
nel audio processing.
Digital Video and Audio Processing
Digital processing of the video component along
with a video SNR >60 dB assures clean, noise-free
video at the receiver. Digital processing of the audio
signal along with an audio SNR >90 dB allows the
audio outputs to drive balanced or unbalanced loads
and maintain constant audio levels.
Built-in Diagnostics
The links employ an extensive set of built-in diag-
nostic tools including video and audio test genera-
tors and LED displays. The video test pattern gener-
ator allows failures to be diagnosed from the moni-
tor while the LEDs monitor video and audio status
and optical signal strength.
