Category 5e+ Component Level Keystone Jacks exceed component, permanent
link and channel level requirements as defined in TIA/EIA-568-B.2 and are fully
tested to 155 MHz and provide a sound platform for supporting all today’s net-
work operating systems including Gigabit Ethernet. These jacks install easily
with insulation displacement technology (IDC) to provide a gas-tight wire-to-con-
nector interface.
Category 5e+ jacks can be terminated with industry standard 110 or Krone termi-
nation tools and feature color-coding for both T568A and T568B wiring. Jacks
feature the ability to mount either color-coded icon tabs for service identification
of dust covers to protect unused jacks from dust and other contaminants. Jacks
are available in eight colors and are supplied with three color-matched icon tabs
and dust covers for voice or data identification.
