MMTS20
Stereo Encoder
The R.L. Drake MMTS20 Stereo Encoder is part of the Drake Mini-Rack family designed
to optimize rack space. The MMTS20 is an MTS stereo encoder which accepts left and
right audio inputs and generates a composite BTSC format stereo signal. The composite
signal is applied to the audio input of a compatible audio/video modulator . The modular
design permits convenient pairing with a mini-rack modulator such as the VMM600,
VMM806, or VMM806AG in a multiple unit rack configuration.
• High quality, economical MTS stereo encoder
• Greater than 20dB stereo separation
• Convenient front panel audio level control and indicator permit setting of
proper audio levels
• Front panel test tone switch allows easy calibration of stereo separation and
minimizes installation time
• Pilot lock indicator verifies that the encoder is properly synchronized.
• Modulators, rack mount and power supply sold separately
DMM806
Agile Video Demodulator
The Drake DMM806 Video Demodulator is a professional quality agile television demod-
ulator that provides an audio and video output from any VHF, UHF, or CATV channels
(54 - 806 MHz). The standard single rack-unit design permits convenient pairing with a
Drake Professional Video Modulator to perform off-air or CATV channel processing.
•
Low cost NTSC demodulator
•
Synthesized reception of off-air TV channels 2 through 69, and CATV
channels 2 through 125; selection set by a front panel pushwheel switch
•
Fixed 1.0 Vp-p NTSC standard negative sync video output, adjustable
audio output level
•
Defeatable de-emphasis for passing stereo and SAP signals to a Drake
modulator
•
Wide range AGC
•
Low distortion synchronous detection
TUM714
Block Upconverter for Conversion of T Channels
The R.L. Drake TUM714 block upconverter is designed to receive the block of CATV
channels in the range of 5 - 54 MHz. (channels T7 - T14) and convert those signals to
EIA channels 7 - 13 and channel 23. Input and output levels as high as +30 dBmV may
be used, nominally with unity gain. The typical application for this device is to receive a
remotely originated channel and convert it so it may be fed into a video recorder or
demodulator. Minirack packaging allows this product to be intermixed with other related
products in a 4 or 12 slot configuration.
• An inexpensive method of returning remotely originated programming to the headend
• Upconverts 5 - 54 MHz - by 168.25 MHz
• Usable at high +30 dBmV input level
• Suitable for use with digital or analog signals
• Modulators, demodulators, stereo encoder, rack mount and power supply sold separately
