Example 2: Model 4762 optical transport of eight HDTV (ASI) channels that will allow cable oper-
ators to transport HDTV from headend to headend or to various hub sites over long distances.
The HD signals are digitally multiplexed on to a single fiber and can be sent up to 40 km (1310
nm) or 80 km (1550 nm).
1) FC/PC connector options are available. Replace SC in the part
number with FC. FC/APC connector options are available.
Replace SA in the part number with FA.
2) The “XXXX” in the part number specifies one of eight CWDM wave-
lengths. The "ITUXX" in the part number specifies one of thirty four
DWDM wavelengths. CWDM wavelengths are 1471 nm, 1491 nm,
1510 nm, 1531 nm, 1551 nm, 1571 nm, 1591 nm, and 1611 nm,
depending on the channel plan ordered.
