(refer to the numbers on the illustration)
1. Select the COM port of the PC connected to the device.
2. Click [Connect] button to activate the connection between PC and SMS alarm unit.
3. Click [Health Check] or [Parameters 1 or 2(SYSTEM)] to get the internal configuration.
Please refer each setting to the corresponding command described on next pages.
9. Alarm Response Time
•
The messenger will start the initialization after connection to the power supply. This procedure will take
about 30 seconds.
•
In case of an alarm, the unit will send an SMS message to the control centre and to 4 pre-programmed
phone numbers. The control centre can be disabled in order for the phone numbers to receive the alarm
10. GSM Network Connectivity
•
If the GSM network is suddenly inaccessible or disconnected during the SMS sending, the message will
be lost.
•
When the CU2200 has failed to send the message due to an inaccessible network, the unit will search
for the network and keep sending the SMS when the network has been re-established.
•
When failing to send SMS messages, the CU2200 will memorize up to 10 messages and send them as
soon as the network is re-established.
