4.3 Measurement of liquids
Flat vessel top
On flat vessels, mounting is usually done on
a very short DIN socket piece. Reference
plane is the lower edge of the flange. The
transducer should protrude out of the flange
tube.

A mounting location directly on the vessel top
is ideal. A round opening in the vessel top is
sufficient to fasten the sensor with the flange,
