Telephone settings
Ringer volume
Handset ringer volume:
You can set the ringer volume or turn the ringer off. When the ringer is
off, Ringer off, Caller ID won’t be announced and appear on
the screen.
Press MENU when the handset is not in use.
Press or to scroll to Ringers, then
press SELECT.
Press SELECT to select Ringer volume.
Press or to sample each volume level.
Press
SELECT to save. You hear a
confirmation tone.

Press
VOL- or VOL+ when the handset is not in use.
When you set the ringer volume to zero, the handset
ringer is off. The handset displays Ringer off and .
Telephone base ringer volume:
Press VOL or VOL on the telephone base when it
is not in use. When you set the ringer volume to zero,
the telephone base announces,
“Base ringer is off.”
If the ringer volume is set to off, that device is
silenced for all incoming calls. However, the
handset still rings when being paged.
