6.6.5 Advanced Settings
You can configure the advanced recording settings in this section.
 Maximum period for each recording file: Configure the maximum length of each
recording file (maximum 15 min).
 When the available storage is less than…GB: Select the action to take when the
available storage is less than the preset level. You can select to overwrite the oldest
recordings or stop recording the new videos.
 Keep alarm recordings for at least…day(s): Specify the number of days that
alarm recordings will be retained. This will prevent the recording files from being
overwritten when the free storage space is insufficient.
 Remove recordings after…day(s): Enter the number of calendar days for the
VioStor to keep the recording files.
Please make sure your storage capacity is enough to save the data for the number of
calendar days you set. When the recording data has reached the expiry date, all the
expired video files will be deleted. For example, if you set to delete the recording data
after 7 calendar days, on the 8th day, the files recorded on the first day of each camera
will be deleted so that the VioStor can start to save the data on the 8th day.
