q Press the 0 2a button.
Note: The appliance is automatically descaled. Descaling
solution flows at intervals, first into the collecting receptacle
and then into the tray 24.
Wait for the next display on display 3 (approx. 25 minutes).
q Empty and reĆinsert the tray 24 and the tray for coffee
dregs 23.
q Rinse out the water tank 22 fill to the max mark with fresh
water und reĆinsert.
q Empty out the collecting receptacle and place under
the froth nozzle 13 again.
q Press the 0 2a button.
Note: The appliance is automatically rinsed. Water flows
at intervals, first into the collecting receptacle and then into
the tray 24.
Wait for the next display on display 3 (approx. 7 minutes).
q Empty the tray 24 and the tray for coffee dregs 23.
q Clean and dry contacts 26.
q ReĆinsert the tray 24 and the tray for coffee dregs 23.
q Wipe splashes off the froth nozzle 13 and unit.
Note: The appliance is automatically rinsed.
The descaling process is complete. The illuminated ring on
4descaling button 9 goes out. The appliance is ready for
use again.
