1.8 ENTERING A T/C OFFSET

Imagine the logs and the recordings are made in different locations or on two
different setups with a T/C offset between the two. For example, the images are
recorded live at the event while the logger works in a studio, with IP Logger on his
laptop. The log entries carry the PC time code of the laptop and the recordings
have the actual live time code.
When the clips are associated to the log sheet, the time codes of the clips and the
logs won't match and you need to enter an offset. This T/C offset will be applied
when:

importing a log sheet on a setup or

importing all the media related to a log sheet.

Note

The T/C Offset is available only when:

the log sheet is not locked

the user has the appropriate rights to modify the log sheet

there are log entries in the log sheet
