Preparing the Camera
Charging the Battery Pack
Use the following procedures to charge the battery pack the first time you
use the camera or when the “Change the battery pack” message displays.
To protect the battery pack and prolong its life, do not charge it for
longer than 24 hours continuously.
1 Insert the battery pack into the
battery charger.
Align the on the battery pack and
battery charger and insert it correctly.
2 Battery charger model names and types
vary by region.
(For CB-2LV)
Plug the battery charger into a
power outlet.
(For CB-2LVE)
Attach the power cord to the battery
charger and plug it into a power
outlet.
• The charge indicator will light orange
while the battery pack is charging. It will
change to green when the charge is
complete.
• After charging, unplug the battery charger
and immediately remove the battery pack.
