Good spray pattern

1. Switch the pump ON

(l). Turn the PRIME/SPRAY knob to

SPRAY. Turn the pressure control dial to maximum
pressure (+). The spray hose should stiffen as paint
begins to flow through it.

2. When motor shuts off, unlock the spray gun and spray a

test area to check the spray pattern.

The motor will cycle on and off automatically as the pump
needs pressure.

The pressure control dial can be be adjusted up or down
to achieve the desired spray pattern.

NOTE - Be sure that the paint hose is free of kinks and clear of objects with sharp cutting edges.

The key to a good job is an even coating over the entire surface. This is done by using even strokes. Follow the TIPS,
below.

Keep the spray gun at right angles to the
surface. This means moving your entire
arm back and forth rather than just flexing
your wrist.

Keep the spray gun perpendicular to the
surface, otherwise one end of the pattern
will be thicker than the other.

Trigger gun after starting the stroke. Release
the trigger before ending the stroke. The
spray gun should be moving when the trigger
is pulled and released.

Overlap each

stroke by about 30%. This will ensure an
even coating.
