Telephone operation
Transfer an external call
You can transfer an external call from one handset to another system handset.
For model CS6129-2
Durng a call, press INT to put the call on hold at the orgnatng handset. The
screen dsplays CALLING OThER hANDSET.
The destnaton handset rngs and ts screen dsplays
OThER hANDSET IS CALLING.
To answer the call at the destnaton handset, press
/FLASh, , INT or any dalng keys (0-9, #, *) on the
destnaton handset.
Now the party at the orgnatng handset can have a
conversaton wth the party at the destnaton handset. Both
screens dsplay INTERCOM.
Press OFF/CLEAR on the orgnatng handset, or place
t back n the telephone base or charger to transfer the
external call to the destnaton handset. The orgnatng
handset dsplays CALL TRANSFERED.
If you wsh to cancel call transfer durng ntercom mode and reconnect to the
external call:
Press /FLASh on the orgnatng handset.
-OR-
Press OFF/CLEAR or INT on the destnaton handset, or place t back n the
telephone base or charger.

If the destnaton

not pck up the
ntercom call,
the orgnatng
handset can return
to the external call
by pressng
/FLASh,
OFF/CLEAR or

If a call remans
on hold for about
100 seconds, or
f the destnaton
handset s n the
drectory, call log,
or out of range,
the screen of
the orgnatng
handset shows
UNABLE TO
CALL TRY AGAIN
and reconnects to
the external call
automatcally.
