Telephone settings
home area code
If you dal your local calls usng only seven dgts (area
code not requred), you can program your home area code,
followng the steps below. By programmng your home area
code, when you receve a call wthn your local area, the
telephone number wll automatcally be stored wthout the
area code n the call log.
Press MENU/SELECT to dsplay the menu when the
handset s not n use.
Press
or to select >hOME AREA CODE, then press
MENU/SELECT. The stored home area code s dsplayed
with the last digit flashing.
Use the dalng keys to enter the desred home area code.
Press MUTE/REMOVE to delete a dgt.
Press and hold MUTE/REMOVE to delete the entre entry.
Press MENU/SELECT to confrm. You wll hear a
confirmation tone.
