DEACTIVATE THE USB MODEM
When not in use, it is possible to deactivate the USB modem. This will
allow you to use the ActiveSync program.
1 In the Home screen, press [Start], select
Settings and press O [OK].
2 Scroll to Connections and press O [OK].
3 Select Modem Link and press O [OK].
4 Use the left and right Navigation Keys to select
status.
5 Select Inactive.
6 Press [Done].
You must deactivate the USB modem if you want to use
ActiveSync.

ACTIVATE THE USB MODEM
The PN-820 comes with a USB modem pre-installed. You can use the
modem for rapid data transfer, but first you must activate it.
1 In the Home screen, press [Start], select
Settings and press O [OK].
2 Scroll to Connections and press O [OK].
3 Select Modem Link and press O [OK].
4 Use the left and right Navigation Keys to select
status.
5 Select Active.
6 Press [Done].
