Press / to select “Brand type”, then press
ENTER.

Press the number buttons to enter the 4 digits
of a brand code of your satellite receiver
obtained from the table (
page 47).
Be sure to enter a brand code correctly. If an invalid one
is entered, channels of the connected satellite receiver
cannot be controlled properly from the recorder.

Press ENTER.
The previous sub-menu returns.

Press SETUP.
The “Initial settings” menu disappears.
Turn on your satellite receiver and confirm that satellite
channels are selected by the number buttons or the
CHANNEL buttons of the recorder’s remote control. If
not, shift the transmitter of the IR control cable or try
another brand code at step 8.
