7: Set top box setting
You can control channels of a connected satellite receiver from the recorder. Connect the supplied IR control cable to
the CHANNEL CHANGE IR jack of the recorder (
page 20), and make this setting.
1 Press SETUP if the setting menu is not displayed.
2 Press / to select “Initial settings”, then press ENTER.

Press / to select “Set top box setting”,
then press ENTER.

Press / to select “Select input”, then press
ENTER.

Press / to select the way of signal input
from the satellite receiver.
AV2 : When the satellite receiver is connected to the
AV2(SAT/DECODER)IN/OUT socket.
AV1 : When the satellite receiver is connected to the
AV1(AUDIO/VIDEO)IN/OUT socket.
(Position number, 1-99)
: When the satellite receiver is connected to the
RF IN (FROM ANT.) terminal.
Select the position (e.g. 6) allocated to the
satellite receiver (
page 36).
Line : When the satellite receiver is connected to the
INPUT jacks.
