1. To make a call, lift the handset and press

If you set the ringer to off,

under the volume setting. The base’s CHARGE
indicator lights.
2. Dial the number. The number appears on the
handset as you dial, then the call’s elapsed
time appears.
You can also dial the number before you press
TALK/FLASH
. If you make a mistake, repeatedly

CH/DEL
to erase the wrong entry, then enter
the correct number. Hold down
CH/DEL
to delete the
entire number.
When you receive a call,

the handset from the base and press

The phone scans 20 channels (frequency pairs
used between the base and the handset) and
automatically selects a clear channel when you
make or receive a call.
If you hear other conversations or excessive noise
during a call, press
CH/DEL
to select a different
channel.
