The databases contain the following columns:

Item
The
Item column shows the order in which the CPU stored the database entry.
MAC Address
The
MAC Address column displays the MAC Address (in six, two-character octets) for the remote network node.
Enter the MAC Address of the device that you want to enter into the database.
Although you can use
00 as a specific value for an octet, you can also use 00 when creating a “wildcard” octet.
Using wildcards allows you to specify a range of addresses, as opposed to just a single address.
For example, the first three octets of the MAC Address for all RadioLAN products is 00 A0 D4. If you want to allow
all RadioLAN products access to the CPU, set the
MAC Address field to 00 A0 D4 00 00 00, and the Mask Bytes field to
ff ff ff 00 00 00. The wildcard is a result of a relationship between the MAC Address and the Mask Bytes field.
