6.1
RS-232 Connection
and Port Configuration
To interface the CL-610 with a home theater automation/control system or a PC running
terminal emulation software:
1. Connect it to your control system or PC as shown in Figure 3-8.
2. Start a terminal session on your PC using a terminal-emulation program, such as
HyperTerminal.
3. Configure the RS-232 controller or PC serial port as follows: no parity, eight data bits,
one stop bit and no flow control. Set the baud rate to match that of the projector
(115200, 38400 or 9600).

Serial Command
Syntax
Serial commands to the CL-610 take the following form:
• Commands are in ASCII format.
• Commands are not case-sensitive;

• A carriage return MUST follow each command.

The CL-610 will not accept serial commands for 30 seconds after it
is turned on or off.
