Paging from the
Base to the Handset

To send a page from the base to the
handset, press

INTERCOM

on the base.

The handset beeps twice per second for
15 seconds. The handset's display
shows

Paging

. The base’s IN USE/

CHARGE indicator flashes.

To answer a page at the handset, press

INTERCOM

. Begin your conversation af-

ter the handset display shows

To end an intercom call, press

INTER-

COM

on the base or handset. All indica-

tors turn off.

Paging from the
Handset to the Base

To send a page from the handset to the
base, press

INTERCOM

on the handset.

The base sounds two short beeps, and
automatically answers the handset's
page (whether or not anyone is there).
Begin your conversation.

To end an intercom call, press

INTER-

COM

on the base or handset. All indica-

tors turn off.

USING THE DIRECTORY

The TAD-728’s directory stores up to 30
telephone numbers with a maximum of
16 digits for each number (including
pauses) into its memory. You can attach
a name (up to 16 characters) to stored
phone numbers.

Storing a Name and Number

Notes:

• An error tone sounds and the phone

exits the storing process if you wait
more than 30 seconds between
each key press.

• If you receive a call during memory

entry, the phone exits the storing
process.

1. Lift the handset.
