Changing the trust settings of an authority certificate
• Scroll to an authority certificate and select
Options
→
Trust settings
. Depending on
the certificate, a list of the applications that can use the selected certificate is shown.
For example:
Services
/
Yes
- the certificate is able to certify sites.
Application manager
/
Yes
- the certificate is able to certify the origin of new software.
Internet
/
Yes
- the certificate is able to certify e-mail and imaging servers.
Important:
Before changing these settings, you must make sure that you really
trust the owner of the certificate and that the certificate really belongs to the
listed owner.
Call barring
(network service)
Call barring allows you to restrict the making and receiving of calls with your phone. For
this function, you need the barring password, which you can obtain from your service
provider.
1 Scroll to one of the barring options.
2 Select
Options
→
Activate
to request the network to set call restriction on,
Cancel
to
set the selected call restriction off, or
Check status
to check if the calls are barred or
not.
• Select
Options
→
Edit barrings passw.
to change the barring password.
• Select
Options
→
Cancel all barrings
to cancel all active call barrings.
Note: When calls are barred, calls may be possible to certain emergency numbers
in some networks (e.g. 112 or other official emergency number).
Note: Call barring affects all calls, including data calls.
Note: You cannot have barring of incoming calls and call diverting or fixed
dialling active at the same time. See
