Changing the PIN code

Use the information in this section to change the PIN code on the
handset.

To change the PIN code, perform the following steps:

2. Press the

Unlock

soft key.

Note: The

Unlock

soft key is available for three

seconds after you press the

key.

Attention:

When you receive a call with key lock active, the dialpad
lock temporarily suspends and you can use all keys. The
key lock reactivates when you terminate the call.

1. Open the

General

settings menu using the steps in

“Accessing the General settings menu” (page 150)

2. Press the

Down

key to highlight the

Security

option.

3. Press the

Select

soft key.

4. Press the

Down

key to highlight the

Change

PIN code

option.

5. Press the

Select

soft key.

6. Use the

Dialpad

to enter the current PIN code.

7. Press the

soft key.
