Modifying the Settings
SmartS Professional has a number of Settings that you can alter:
• About s ettings: Display the version number of the SmartS Professional software you are running.
• GPS s ettings: Confi gure the communications settings for your GPS Receiver.
• Display s ettings: Change the map colors, select fast map panning or enable/disable the startup tutorial.
• Guidance settings: Choose the distance units (kilometres or miles) or change the voice guidance settings.
• Map s ettings: Select the map regions you need to plan your route.
• POI s ettings: Select the Points of Interest that are relevant to you.
• Routing s ettings: Select "shortest distance" or "fastest time" route planning, avoid certain road conditions or
enable/disable the Back-On-Track™ feature.
