Press the Cntrst softkey.
Adjust the contrast by pressing the Less and More softkeys. If the display characters appear faded, pressing the More
softkey will darken the characters by increasing the contrast. Similarly, pressing the Less softkey decreases contrast
(lightens the characters) for comfortable viewing and better clarity. Exit by pressing the MENU key.
Setting the Backlighting Options
The i2022 Teleset incorporates a four-line + icons, 27 character, adjustable, backlit display. There are three settings for
the backlight feature: off, on, and dynamic.
OFF – When the backlight feature is set to off, no backlighting is present.
ON –When the backlight feature is on, the backlighting is continuous.
DYNAMIC – When the dynamic backlighting feature is enabled, the display is backlit whenever the handset is off-hook or
the Teleset is ringing. In the dynamic setting, the display is backlit for a period of 30 seconds after the ringing ceases or
the handset goes on-hook.
To set these options, first press the MENU key and then the MORE key. The display appears as shown below.
The display will show the current setting on the top line. To change the option press, the appropriate softkey.
