Shooting Settings

Press the
4 button.
The camera is ready to take a picture with the set White Balance.
You can fine tune the White Balance setting.

Set [7. Adjust White Balance] in the [
A Custom Setting]
menu to [On].

Perform desired settings in Steps 1 to 3 of “Setting the
White Balance”.

Press the four-way controller (

The [Adjust White Balance] screen appears.

Use the four-way controller
(
2345) to fine tune White
Balance.
Seven levels and 225 patterns are
available on the G-M and B-A axes.
Press the Green button to reset the GM compensation and BA
compensation to [0].
• No image is recorded when the shutter release button is pressed to adjust
the white balance.
• [NG] appears when measuring is unsuccessful. Press the
4 button while
displayed to return to the [Adjust White Balance] screen for remeasuring.
• If the picture is extremely overexposed or underexposed, white balance may
not be adjusted. In this case, adjust appropriate exposure and adjust the
white balance.
Fine-Tuning the White Balance
GM compensation
Adjusts the tone of the colors between green
and magenta.

BA compensation
Adjusts the tone of the colors between blue
and amber.
