Upgrading the System Memory (RAM)
The computer has two memory sockets for 200 pin Small Outline Dual In-line
(SO-DIMM) - DDRII (DDR2) 400/533 MHz - type memory modules (see
for details). The total memory size is automatically
detected by the POST routine once you turn on your computer.
1.
Turn off the computer, and turn it over and remove the battery.
2.
Locate the memory (RAM) bay cover, remove screws

the bay cover.

Gently pull the two release latches (

on the sides of the memory
socket in the direction indicated by the arrows in
Figure 6 - 4
