Initial Settings

Adjusting initial settings

Initial settings lets you perform initial set up of
different settings for this unit.

FUNCTION

Shows the function status.

You cannot select AUDIO MENU from the OFF
SOURCE MENU.

1 Press

SOURCE

and hold until the unit turns

off.

2 Press

A.MENU

and the OFF SOURCE

MENU is displayed.

You can operate a desired function. For details,
refer to the pages for each of the functions.
Use the following instructions to operate each
particular setting.
• To cancel initial settings, press

BAND/ESC

or

WIDE

on the remote control.

Switching the warning tone

If the operation panel is not detached from the
head unit within five seconds of turning off the
ignition, a warning tone will sound. You can turn
off this warning tone.

1 Press

5 or to select

DETACH WARNING

from the INIT MENU, and press

A.MENU

.

DETACH WARNING adjustment indications are
displayed.

2 Select

WARNING:

ON or OFF with

5/.

Pressing

5/∞ will switch

WARNING

between

ON and OFF

and that status will be displayed

(e.g.,

WARNING :ON

).

Switching the auxiliary setting

It is possible to use auxiliary equipment with
this unit. Activate the auxiliary setting when
using auxiliary equipment connected to this
unit.

1 Press

5 or to select

AUX

from the INIT

MENU, and press

A.MENU

.

AUX adjustment indications are displayed.

2 Select

AUX

ON or OFF with

5/.

Pressing

5/∞ will switch

AUX

between

ON and

OFF

and that status will be displayed (e.g.,

AUX :ON

).
