Usage Guidelines

To navigate through menus, to enter data, and instructions on how to use

Microsoft Office Communicator 2007, refer to the Microsoft Office

Communicator 2007 help and documentation.

Docking Cradle and Handset LED Indicators

The Polycom CX400 cordless phone cradle has two LEDs that provide

information about battery charging and connection status. The handset has an

LED that indicates the state of the handset. The various states and

interpretations are described in the following table.

Contact your system administrator to ensure your account is configured in
Enterprise Voice mode.

LED

State

Description

Cradle Red Charging
LED

Off

The handset is fully charged or cradle is not
receiving power.

On

The handset is charging.

Cradle Green
Connection LED

Off

The cradle is not receiving power (USB cord
may be unplugged or the computer may be
turned off).

On

The cradle is powered and radio frequency
link is established with handset.

Slow
Flashing

There is no radio frequency link between
handset and cradle (the handset may be
off).

Fast
Flashing

The cradle is attempting to “pair” with the
handset (the handset may be off).

Handset Status LED

Off

The handset is off whether it is in the cradle
or not.

Green

The handset is on whether it is in the cradle
or not.

Flashing
Red

The handset battery is low (when handset is
out of cradle).
