Functional
Modules The Functional Modules, also known as cards, perform
the various audio, video, and data processing functions
for the MGC unit. Both the MGC-100 and the MGC-50
use the same functional modules.Any module can be
inserted into any slot and servicing can be performed
while the system is in operation. The MGC-100 can
contain up to 16 Functional Modules and the MGC-50 can
contain up to 8 Functional Modules.
Input/Output (I/O)
Cards Input/Output (I/O) Cards connect the Functional Modules
to external systems and networks.
