Scheduled recording

You can enter up to 16 programs up to a month in advance. (Each
daily or weekly program is counted as one program.)
Preparation
pTurn on the television and select the appropriate video input to suit
the connections to this unit.
pPress [THEATER] to switch the remote control to operate this unit.
pPress [DRIVE SELECT] to select the DVD drive.
pCheck that the time on the unit is correct.
pInsert a disc. (
➡ page 12)

Press [SCHEDULE].

Press [ , ] to select “New
Scheduled Recording” and press
[ENTER].

Press [ ] to move through the items
and change the items with [ , ].
pPress and hold [, ] to alter On (Start time) and Off
(Finish time) in 30-minute increments.
pYou can also set Channel, Date, On (Start time), and Off
(Finish time) with the numbered buttons.
pYou can also press [REC MODE] to change the recording
mode.
w To set daily or weekly timer
Press [ , ] to select “Date” and [, ] to select daily
timer or weekly timer.
w To enter Title Name
Press [ , ] to select “Title Name” and press [ENTER]
( ➡ page 31, Entering text).

Press [ENTER].
“ &” lights on the unit’s display to indicate scheduled recording
standby has been activated.
pRepeat steps 2
–4 to schedule other recordings.

When the disc is removed, scheduled recording standby is cancelled
(the “
&” indicator goes out). You can put the unit back on standby by
inserting a recordable disc (the “ &” lights on again).
w To return to the previous screen
Press [RETURN].
w To exit the screen
Press [SCHEDULE].
w When recording the channel (not set on this
unit) from cable box or satellite receiver
Press [, ] to select IN1 or IN2 in the channel column
( ➡ above, step 3).
Select the channel on the equipment before the scheduled time.
