The Patient Test screen appears with messages
prompting you to apply blood to the strip and
then insert the test strip.
Applying Blood Sample to Test Strip
Obtain a drop of blood. Capillary blood can be
obtained from puncturing the finger or heel
using a lancing device. The puncture site
should be cleaned and thoroughly dried before
obtaining the sample. Follow your institution’s
policy and procedure guidelines for blood
collection.
