Clearing jams
If the jammed media is caught entering the standard tray (Tray 1), the operator panel indicates a 230.xx Paper Jam.
1 Remove the standard tray.
2 Pull the jammed media down and out.
3 Install the standard tray.
The jammed media is caught as shown in the standard tray (Tray 1). The operator panel indicates a 200.xx Paper Jam or
a 230.xx Paper Jam.
1 Remove the standard tray.
2 Pull the jammed media straight up.
Note: If the media is not visible in this area, pull the tray out completely. Also, look behind the upper and
lower doors for the jammed media.
3 Install the standard tray.
