Clearing jams
If the jammed media is caught between the lower door and the inner door, the operator panel indicates a 230.xx Paper
Jam
.
1 Open the upper door.
2 Pull the jammed media straight up.
Note: If most of the jammed media is not visible with the upper door open, open the lower door to access
the jam. To open the lower door without also opening the inner door, pull on the lower door handle.
Do not pull the inner door handle, or both the inner door and the lower door will pull down together.
3 Close the door(s).
